a documentary in English

The third installment in BODY TYPED, a trilogy (including THE GUARANTEE and the Sundance award-winning WET DREAMS AND FALSE IMAGES) examining notions of physical perfection. In 34x25x36, we visit the Patina V Mannequin Factory where the artistry, craft and marketing that go into creating "the ideal woman of the moment"--in plastic--are accompanied by a remarkable amount of reflection on just what that ideal means. The designer hearkens back to the roots of his craft not only in French 19th-century wax figures but also in the religious icons of medieval times.
Provocative and informative, the film premiered at the SXSW film festival, and director, Jesse Epstein, was recently named to Filmmaker Magazine's 25 New Faces of Independent Film.

The Gift

a narrative film in Russian

Directed by Carl E. Rinsch, ‘The Gift’ Belongs to the "pararell Lines" Phillips Cinema campaning. Placed in Russia, The Gift is a Sci-Fi short with a savage Chase sequence on it. We made more than 20 full CGI shots for the short. Check out the animated pictures to see how it has been done. We also made the vechicles and some characters desings. We enjoyed creating such an unusual atmosphere and sense. Not the regular Sci-fi film we are used to see...

Design Your Dream Life Through Passive Income | Alex Szepietowski | TEDxUniversityofYork

a talk in English

Alex describes his experiences as a young entrepreneur and the steps many others could take to follow in his footsteps.

After interning in every industry he possibly could, Alex realised that, more than any job in the world, he wanted to be his own boss. In 2012, without money or experience and in his 3rd year of PPE at York (Derwent College), Alex read ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ and decided to start investing in property. He spent his student loan on learning how it was done, and 2 years later owned 24 houses and won a few national awards. Alex is incredibly passionate about inspiring others to believe in themselves and forge their own path, irrespective of their circumstances, or what ‘the norm’ dictates!

Copying = Stealing ?

a lecture in English

A webseries debunking the myths of copying.
A week left on Indiegogo! http://igg.me/at/copyme

In the digital world, to copy is to duplicate information to somewhere else, using your own computing power. Digital property is not a finite resource!
Episode number two is basically extending the talk about copying vs stealing. Before heading to deeper waters, we feel it's really important to cover these things at length. In the digital world, things are rather different.
