Kiss - A Love Story

an experimental film in no language

Fresh off the the festival circuit, we proudly present the internet premiere of our short film Kiss.

"Le soleil est le passé, le terre est le présent et la lune est le futur."

As Paul Auster once said “The sun is the past, the earth is the present and the moon is the future.” In our first independent short film we explore the consequence of something as innocent as a kiss. A love story between the sun and the moon. We believe that every solar eclipse is the moons attempt to reach the sun... x

fortabt - loss of love

an experimental film in English

***NOTE BEFORE VIEWING: INTRICATE SOUND DESIGN - FOR BEST EXPERIENCE VIEW WITH HEADPHONES.***

IN SHORT ABOUT fortabt:
experimental in process, merging documentary & fiction, “fortabt” was born as visual representation of an actual heartbreak in copenhagen. giving life to that place we go when we know it is over. where we reset, find ourselves. take a deep breath & do it all over again.

SHORT FACTS ABOUT fortabt:
- in danish this is a word meaning specifically the loss of love…the loss of nothing else.
- fortabt was created in 3 days as part of SHNIT Realtime...a day to shoot...a day to edit...a day to master.
- no script was written...the voice comes from an hour documentary interview done with Richard Hendrickse...a 78year old bachelor whom admittedly has never been in love...within his real life stories around the sense of loss, love, cold & storms the soul was found to tell the story of "fortabt".
- the cinematographer & actress fell in love...they are still in love.

Beyond This Place

an experimental film in no language

Beyond This Place explores the ideas of solitude, sexuality, and discovery. In a time where sexual orientation isn't as simple as being born a certain way, but rather a regulated choice. The inability to make a choice consequently exiles young individuals to fend for themselves.

Refuge

an experimental film in no language

A young woman is running away in the forest. She finds shelter in a chapel where a strange ceremony is happening.

In this experimental short film, Thibaut Duverneix and David Drury played with 4k resolution with 120fps high frame rate and 3d sound at 32.2. In this super high resolution binaural experience, the audience forgets the technology and is immersed into a slightly surreal world.

This is an HD version at 30fps with Binaural sound, the 4k UHD 120fps version with 3d sound is broadcasted during special events.
